CEI - Construction Engineering Inspection

SCOPE OF WORK

As part of the Broward Operations Miscellaneous CEI contract, Castillo Engineering provided construction engineering inspection services for SR 7/US 441 Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Project in the City of Lauderdale Lakes. Safety enhancements addressed pedestrian mobility by constructing a 10-foot shared-use path along the east side of SR 7/US 441 within the project limits. A pedestrian safety barrier will be installed along the existing median to discourage mid-block pedestrian crossings. Improvements will also include a new northbound overhead sign, miscellaneous signage, paving, restriping, landscaping, and curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
