CEI - Construction Engineering Inspection

SCOPE OF WORK

As a member of the Eisman & Russo Team, Castillo Engineering provided construction engineering inspection services for the SR 7 / US-441 reconstruction project from Fillmore Street to South of Stirling Road. This complex Design/Build project included the reconstruction and widening of 2.1 miles of SR-7, including the construction of three travel lanes in each direction separated by raised medians, new curb & gutters, sidewalks, 6-foot bicycle lanes, ADA ramps, new bus bays with shelters, an entirely new closed drainage system with detention ponds and conveyance swales, upgrading existing and installing new signalized intersections, new lighting and ATMS communications throughout the corridor. In addition, this project completed all work associated with the installation of a new sanitary sewer system and two water mains with all the associated improvements on behalf of the City of Hollywood under a Joint Project Agreement (JPA) with the Florida Department of Transportation.
