SCOPE OF WORK

Castillo Engineering provides construction engineering inspection services for the improvements to Loxahatchee Road within the City of Parkland.

The project’s intent is to enhance the road infrastructure to support the Broward County Mobility Program. The scope of this project includes widening the road to accommodate bike lanes, creating a continuous sidewalk on the south side, and constructing roundabouts at Nob Hill Road, University Drive, and Parkside Drive. Additionally, the project involves adding an eastbound left turn lane onto SR 7/US 441, milling and resurfacing the roadway, and upgrading signage and pavement markings.

US-1 / FEDERAL HIGHWAY MOBILITY PROJECT

PEMBROKE ROAD TO SHERIDAN STREET

CEI - Construction Engineering Inspection

SCOPE OF WORK

Castillo Engineering provided construction engineering inspection services for the improvements to US-1 within the City of Hollywood.

The project’s intent is to enhance the road infrastructure to support the Broward County Mobility Program. The scope of this project includes milling and resurfacing the existing pavement, as well as modifying the pavement markings along SR-5 / US-1 / Federal Highway to accommodate 4-foot bicycle lanes in each direction. Additionally, the installation of 138 new light poles and the upgrading of existing lighting to LED will enhance visibility throughout the area. Concrete sidewalks were replaced with pavers from Monroe Street to Van Buren Street and from Polk Street to Fillmore Street. Existing pavers at signalized intersections between Van Buren Street and Pembroke Road were removed, and decorative stamped asphalt crosswalks were installed at all signalized intersections to improve aesthetics and safety.
