As a member of the Creative Engineering Group Team, Castillo Engineering provided construction engineering inspection services for the Spanish River / FAU Interchange from North of Glades Road to Congress Avenue. Work includes construction a new interchange at Spanish River Boulevard and I-95, reconstruction of Spanish River Boulevard bridge over Boca Airport Road/ I-95/ CSX, widening of Yamato Road, widening of FAU Boulevard, construction of 8 new bridges, widening of 5 existing bridges between Spanish River Boulevard and Yamato Road, signalized intersection improvements, new lighting, the addition of an auxiliary lane and a full depth 11’ shoulder along NB & SB I-95 between Glades Road and Congress Ave, sound wall construction along Yamato Road and along I-95, MSE wall construction, new signing & pavement markings and the construction of 2 new multi-use trail underpasses beneath the CSX RR and beneath Yamato Road.
