As part of the Miscellaneous District 6 Contract, Castillo Engineering provided construction engineering inspection services for the SR 953/LeJeune Road Safety Improvement Project from SW 2nd Street to NW 11th Street. This project scope entailed intersection improvements at Flagler Street, NW 3rd Street and NW 7th Street including minor road widening, milling and resurfacing, new pavement markings, drainage improvements, new signalization, new lighting system, detectable warning surfaces at crosswalks, extensive sidewalk and ADA ramp replacement, curb and gutter replacement, traffic separators, adjusting utility tops along roadway and sidewalks.
